To strengthen our sales team in Hoofddorp - The Netherlands we are looking for a sales manager Chemicals
Purpose of the role:
As sales manager you are responsible for managing and expanding our customer portfolio within the chemical material sector:
- You work closely with both existing and potential customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate chemical solutions.
- You play a crucial role in achieving our sales objectives and strengthening our market position.
- You manage and expand the customer portfolio as a preferred partner within the Netherlands
- You build and maintain strong relationships with your customers and suppliers.
- You identify new business and market opportunities.
- You prepare and follow up on quotes and sales contracts.
- You pursue sales objectives.
- You work intensively with internal teams, including logistics and sales support, to ensure efficient service delivery.
Your background:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g.,analytical chemistry, organic chemistry or biochemistry
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent negotiation skills and commercial insight.
- Strong communication and social skills.
- Good command of MS Office and ERP systems.
- Solution-oriented thinking and a positive attitude.
- Good knowledge of English and Dutch is crucial to build a good partner relationship.
- You are a commercial talent who can work independently, organized, and result-oriented.
